Donal is Managing Partner of PKF O’Connor Leddy & Holmes Limited. He is a Taxation Partner since 1999 and has been Managing Partner since 2006. Donal’s main area of expertise is taxation and he has over 25 years of experience in dealing with a broad range of taxation issues including all corporate tax issues as well as advising on acquisitions and disposals of companies and setting up of new businesses. He also has extensive experience of dealing with Revenue Investigations, audits and settlements. Donal advises on all areas of tax including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT and Capital Gains Tax. His focus is to devise solutions and remove barriers for clients who are in the process of completing transactions.
This relates to all types of industries but particularly property, food and manufacturing and advice related companies.
Donal has lectured for the Irish Taxation Institute on Capital Gains Tax.
Catherine is a tax partner and leads the Private Client and VAT Department. She joined the firm in 2000 and has been a tax partner since 2007. Catherine is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Chartered Accountant. She graduated from Dublin City University with a B.A in Accounting and Finance.
Catherine has 20 years experience in providing tax advice. Her particular areas of expertise would include:

She devises solutions and provides her clients with comprehensive tax enabling them to realise the full tax implications of the transaction. Catherine has delivered CPD lectures on various tax areas to include Retirement & Succession Planning and VAT on property transactions.
Shane leads the firm’s Corporate Tax Department. With over eight years’ experience in corporate tax consultancy and compliance, Shane has developed a comprehensive portfolio of indigenous Irish businesses and multinational organisations as clients in a broad range of sectors.
Shane has delivered advises on corporate tax structuring, mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing planning and inward investment projects.
He has published extensively on corporate taxation, particularly in respect of the issues facing SMEs in planning for and dealing with revenue audits.

David is a Partner of Corporate Finance at PKF O’Connor Leddy Holmes.
David has over 15 years of financial advisory, capital markets and corporate banking experience. He joins PKF in May 2020 with a wealth of deal experience having worked in leading professional services firms and banks and has built a reputation for delivering successful outcomes across a wide range of sectors, including multiple award-winning deals.
His experience includes M&A advisory (acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, capital raisings and restructuring) and debt structuring, arranging and investing (senior debt, leverage finance, mezzanine debt and syndicated corporate debt).
David previously held senior roles in AIB Corporate Banking, Deloitte Corporate Finance (Debt Advisory) and Mazars Corporate Finance (Mergers & Acquisitions) where he successfully advised clients ranging from global private equity houses and large corporates to privately owned businesses and management teams.
David has a genuine interest in working with entrepreneurial clients. He believes in taking time to understand his client’s businesses and challenges so that he can provide optimal solutions and assist them in achieving their goals and satisfying their requirements. David’s breadth of knowledge and experience allows him to identify creative approaches where appropriate, whether by way of a debt or equity funded deal or another bespoke approach. He focuses on working closely with his clients and building long standing trusted relationships as an all-round business advisor.
David is a chartered accountant having trained in audit & advisory at KPMG.
David holds a MACC from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor Commerce from UCD and I am a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA).
Declan de Lacy

Declan is a partner with PKF O’Connor, Leddy & Holmes. He joined the firm in 2012 and leads the firm’s Corporate Recovery Department. Declan is a Chartered Accountant and has degrees in both economics and law. Declan was appointed a Peace Commissioner in 2006 by the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform. Declan was made partner in 2017.
Declan has more than fifteen years experience in corporate finance and corporate recovery. He has assisted clients from a broad range of sectors with strategic planning, restructuring, project appraisal, and project finance. He has undertaken numerous formal insolvency assignments including receiverships and liquidations. He has also been engaged by lenders to conduct examinations of borrowers affairs and to advise on whether or not to provide additional financial support.
The advisory assignments that Declan has undertaken involved a broad range of sectors including property & construction, hotels and leisure, the motor trade, and retail.
The corporate restructuring assignments that Declan has undertaken involved preparing restructuring proposals, negotiating with banks and other creditors, and helping clients to implement the changes proposed.
Declan has written extensively and delivered CPD lectures on corporate restructuring and insolvency.
Declan has extensive international experience and has advised on projects in locations as diverse as South America, the Caribbean, and Africa. Whilst undertaking international assignments
Declan has developed a detailed understanding of structuring complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

Susan Wylie is an audit partner with PKF O’Connor Leddy & Holmes Limited, Accountants & business advisers. She joined the firm in 1989, worked throughout the organisation and became partner in 2003.
Susan is one of the partners responsible for overseeing the audit & assurance side of the practice and specialises in providing services to a diverse range of clients ranging from multinational and corporate clients to start-up and owner managed businesses.
Susan has significant experience in working with clients in a variety of sectors including Wholesale & distribution, Retail, Technology, Manufacturing, Property development, Aircraft parts leasing, Professional services and the Charity sector.

Susan oversees the provision of auditing services to clients under Irish GAAP and IFRS, for domestic companies, Irish subsidiaries of multinational groups and Irish holding companies with foreign subsidiaries abroad.
Over the years Susan has also gained experience in accounting, managements accounts, personal & corporate taxation and Irish company law. This experience has assisted both international and domestic companies during start up, acquisition and growth phases. Susan also acts for a number of legal firms providing Law Society Reports under Irish Law Society Regulations.
Susan has delivered CPD lectures internally and externally on Auditing and other related matters.

David is an Audit Partner with PKF O’Connor, Leddy & Holmes Limited.
He provides audit, accounting and outsourcing services to a broad range of the firm’s clients, particularly to large corporates and the SME sector.
Internationally focused with significant experience in US GAAP and US GAAS, David’s clients include a number of large multinational groups which he manages in conjunction with our PKF offices across the world. David also has extensive experience in the preparation of financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
David’s particular areas of expertise are in the technology and aircraft leasing sectors with a specific focus on supporting FDI from the US and the UK. In addition, David is part of an outsourced accounting services team that supports domestic and international clients with their accounting requirements.
A Belfast native, David holds an Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Ulster. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) and the Irish Taxation Institute (ITI). He has also served as a lecturer and examiner for a number of Ireland’s leading accountancy bodies and is currently the Chair of the Consortium Group that has overseen the introduction of the Accounting Technician Apprenticeship in the Republic of Ireland.

Tony Kelly joined PKF on October 1st 2019 as an Audit & Business Services Partner. Prior to this, he was a co-founder and Managing Partner of BCK (formed in 1998). Prior to the forming of BCK, Tony worked with a number of mid-sized audit practices and from 1993 to 1998 was Technical Director to The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland for five years. Tony has also served on committees of behalf of CPA, analysing audit practices and accounting standards, participating in the drafting of submissions to the standard setters.
He was a Director of IAASA (Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority) as a nominee of the accountancy profession, a position which he held for several years.
Tony acts for a diverse range of clients and offers audit, accountancy and management advisory services, providing key information and advice on a regular basis.
He acts on a voluntary basis to a number of boards, is Chair of Carmichael Centre for Voluntary Groups and is a former chair of the Audit Committee of the Irish Red Cross.
Liam Farrell leads the PKF Business Services Department having previously worked within our Assurance and Advisory department. In over fifteen years working with small and medium sized practices, Liam has developed an extensive knowledge of accounts, audit, taxation, company secretarial and business planning.
He has worked on the affairs of newly established to multi-national listed clients, across many sectors of the Irish Economy including professional, manufacturing, retail, franchising, construction & rental and hotel & leisure sectors. Liam has also gained significant experience with the particular requirements of Not For Profit entities including Charities, Schools and Property Management Companies.
Liam has lectured externally on the implications of the 2009 Charity Act and internally on accounting and compliance matters.
